Reality
Ok. Time to face facts. With all the things going on in my life with family, injuries, motivation and another procedure on my nose in 2 weeks I'm going to bag the Curahee plans for this year. I just don't see it happening. I'll re-consider after Aug 8th when I get my nose worked on some more. Perhaps I can do the 3 mile option. Just don't know.

I'm not one to talk... I bailed on one of my key races earlier this year when life took over. So I know this wasn't an easy decision for you. See how the 3 mile option looks over the next couple weeks. And don't lift any car seats!
I'm sorry you have to do another surgery. Don't worry about the race! It is still a victory to do the 3 mile loop or postpone to next year. Think of how much more active you are now than just a year ago. THAT is the victory. : )
Sorry to hear that! There is always next year, once you are the MAN and have tons of peeps working for you and plenty of time to train!
